The old crawl space door has been replaced with a new door that does not warp, rust, or rot. A friction fit insulated interior door is installed before the exterior door is put on to keep out outside air and moisture.

This vented crawl space in Charles City, VA had falling and damaged insulation, a torn vapor barrier, high relative humidity, and mold growing on the joists. The vents and rim band were sealed and insulated, the sill plate was sealed, a vapor barrier was installed, and spray foam insulation was applied to the walls. 

Water has been seeping through these basement walls and causing moisture damage to the insulation on the floors above. The homeowner wanted to replace their insulation and waterproof the basement. 

We installed the WaterGuard system with SuperSump Plus and Ultra Sump Battery Back-up sump pump system and replaced the insulation on the floors above. 

This homeowner had been using their basement for a recreational space but was having issues with water seeping in. We installed the WaterGuard Drainage System, a Perimeter Drainage system that collects and evacuates infiltrating water away from the home. The homeowner has since been able to finish off their basement space and utilize it without worrying about water damage.
