Blocked Vents Vapor Barrier
The crawl space vents are blocked then sealed with spray foam from the inside of the crawl space, making no alterations to how your home looks on the exterior and keeping out air carrying moisture. A vapor barrier is installed to keep moisture from entering the crawl space through the ground.
Spray Foam on Crawl Space Walls and Sealed Sill Plate
Wood frames do not sit flush with cinderblock foundations, in order to keep moisture out, we seal the sill plate to keep air and moisture from entering through these gaps. The Crawl Space walls are then insulated with Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation which acts as a moisture retarder when applied in a thickness of 1.5" or more.
Quinton, VA: Insulated Crawl Space Door
To keep additional air and moisture from entering the crawl space, a Friction Fit Insulated door is installed and the existing exterior door or a new exterior door is installed on the exterior.
Quinton, VA: Crawl Space Humidity
