Wet Basement
Water has been leaking into the basement through the brick wall and ultimately the paneling that had been covering it. Our team first removed the paneling to expose the wall so that we can begin to install the waterproofing system.
Perimeter Drainage System
A trench is dug around the perimeter of the basement to install the WaterGuard system. WaterGuard is a french drain system installed under the slab, it will collect the infiltrating water and also allow the homeowners to finish the basement overtop of the system and continue to utilize the space.
Trench to Sump Pump
The WaterGuard system leads to a sump pump basin which will discharge the water from the basement and away from the home's foundation.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier lines the wall to direct any wanted down into the WaterGuard system, preventing it from seeping through the finished walls that the homeowners plan on installing.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System
This basement is now outfitted with WaterGuard drain track, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and the SuperSump Plus protecting it from water infiltration and keeping it dry all the time. This gives them the peace of mind that as they refinish their basement they won't need to worry about sheetrock or wall paneling getting wet and damaged again and can enjoy the space.
