Radon Intake Pipe & U-tube Manometer
The intake Pipe is inserted below the slab and exits through the rim joist to the outside and the radon fan. The u-tube and manometer monitor the system's performance.
Preparing for Radon System
A hole is drilled in the basement slab for the intake pipe, which leads to the radon fan.
Radon Fan
The Radon fan is installed on the exterior of the home. It connects to the intake pipe in the basement and the exhaust pipe which extends past the roof line.
Exhaust line
The exhaust pipe runs from the radon fan to 2 feet above the roofline so that radon gasses can be diluted by fresh air without entering the living space.
