Staining on Basement Walls
Staining is present on basement walls from water infiltration. Staining can also be seen on the basement floor where water has been sitting.
TripleSafe Sump Pump with Battery Back-up
After WaterGuard drainage is installed it is directed to the TripleSafe Sump Pump which pumps any water away from the house.
Trench Drain In front of Basement Door
A trench drain has been installed in front of the basement door. This is to catch any bulk water entering from under or around the door and feed it to the sump pump.
Battery Back-up with TripleSafe Sump Pump
The battery back up kicks on in the instance that power to the pump is lost. The battery Back-up will pump up to 12,000 gallons on 1 full charge.
Triple Safe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe Sump Pump consists of three pumps. The 1st pump is a 1/3 hp Zoeller M-53 that does most of the pumping. In the instance that Pump 1 cannot keep up or it fails, pump 2 takes over. Pump 2 is a Zoeller M-98 1/2 hp High Volume Pump. Coupled with pump one they can remove up to 6200 gallons of water per hour. The third pump is the UltraSump Battery Back-up Pumping System which is a DC operated pump that kicks on if power fails.
WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage
Where you see the darker cement around the perimeter of the basement is where the WaterGuard drainage system has been installed. WaterGuard is a drainage track that collects and directs any water infiltration to the sump pump.
CleanSpace on Basement Walls
Clean Space is installed on the basement walls to prevent moisture from getting in the basement and directs it down into the WaterGuard Drainage system to be diverted away from the home.
