CleanSpace on Basement Walls
A CleanSpace vapor barrier has been installed on the basement walls to help prevent moisture and vapor from entering the basement. It will also direct any water that enters through the walls downward into the drainage system.
TripleSafe Sump Pump in Basement
The TripleSafe Sump pump contains three sump pumps within its basin. The first is the main sump pump that operates the majority of the time. However, if for any reason pump 1 fails or cannot keep up, pump 2 will take over. In the instance power or a circuit breaker fails, the third pump an UltraSump Battery Back-Up Pumping System takes over. In addition, the WaterWatch alarm sounds if water rises above the operating range of the sumps, telling you there is a problem before damage occurs.
WaterGuard Drainage System
The Waterguard Drainage System has been installed around the perimeter of the basement. A trench is dug, then filled with rock, WaterGuard drainage track, and Cement. WaterGuard feeds directly into the TripleSafe Sump Pump to pump water out and away from the home.
Trench Drain inside Exterior Basement Door
As part of the WaterGuard system, a Trench Drain is installed inside of any exterior basement doors. This drain is connected to the WaterGuard system, feeding directly to the sump pump. Its purpose is to collect and divert any bulk water entry from the exterior basement door.
