Prepping the Job
First, a piece of siding is carefully removed and a hole is drilled to access each wall cavity.
Installing the Cellulose
Using a hose, Cellulose insulation is pumped into the top and bottom of each wall cavity until it is full.
Filled Wall Cavities
Each wall cavity is densely packed with cellulose insulation to ensure there are minimal air gaps.
Sealing the holes
Plugs are put in each hole then it is sealed with Tyvek tape to hold everything in place.
Like we were never there
Finally, the siding is put back in place and it's like we were never there! Our homeowner will be more comfortable working in the garage space and they will get the sound dampening properties they were looking for to use the garage as a studio space.
