Crawl Space Entrance
There are many crawl space doors and entrances, but the issue with many is that they allow the outside air and moisture to leak in. This allows the outside influence to affect the relative humidity and environment of the crawl space. Wooden or metal doors are often used to cover crawl space entrances but deteriorate or warp over time from exposure to the outside conditions.
Friction Fit Door
This is our custom-made Friction Fit Crawl Space Door. It uses a 1.5-inch Foamax foamboard attached with a handle and is fitted into the inside of the crawl space entrance. This Friction Fit door is custom-sized and will help to mitigate any outside air and moisture from getting into the crawl space.
EverLast Door
The EverLast door is a custom-sized PVC panel that is placed over the outside of the crawl space entrance. It is mechanically fastened into the foundation walls but is easily taken off by turning the screw handles on each side. The EverLast door, along with the Friction Fit door will help bolster the crawl space's defenses against outside influence.
