This Doswell, VA homeowner reached out to us with concerns about water coming into their finished basement. Tyler met with the homeowner and did a thorough inspection of thier home. The intruding water had left staining on the lower section of the walls and a musty odor. To protect this basement, we recommended a Complete Basement Waterproofing System. CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed on the walls and fastened. All of the fasteners and seams were sealed using a heavy duty 4" vinyl tape. A trench was dug around the perimeter of the basement and the WaterGuard drainage system was installed along with rock. A TripleSafe Sump Pump was installed, this sump pump is unique because it utilizes a three pump system. The WaterGuard System directs water into the TripleSafe, which pumps it out and away from the home's foundation. Finally, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier is installed to control relative humidity. This system gives the homeowners peace of mind that thier basement is protected from water infiltration and mold and mildew.
