Virginia Values Veterans Certified!

We are honored to be officially certified as a Virginia Value Veterans (V3) company and see this as a continuation of our company culture of valuing our nation’s veterans. Because our service area includes the greater Hampton Roads & Richmond areas, we have a wealth of military bases in every direction. Many service men and women call our region home and then find themselves transitioning to a vastly different civilian life upon completing their service. This is a massive life change for individuals and their families, and we are honored to welcome them to our team.

V3 offers training to help businesses better understand how to leverage the unique skills and benefits veterans bring to Virginia’s workforce. It also highlights ways to help veterans succeed and, therefore, stay in their new civilian jobs where they and the businesses can flourish together. In exchange for the free training and support V3 provides, they ask the businesses to identify a target number of veterans to hire each year. Then V3 provides outlets to help businesses recruit veterans to join their team. We currently have a total of 50 employees and aim to hire 3 veterans in 2018.  

Before we held this title, we hired veterans and worked to see them (and all our employees) succeed. We also made efforts to recognize their service among their peers, particularly on Veterans Day and year-round with display pieces in our offices commemorating them by name so all our guests can see.
